Myra Simons 

Myra Simons is currently the Grassroots Coordinator for the Mark Green for Congress campaign seeking to establish county leadership teams in all 19 counties of the 7^th Congressional District of TN.   Additionally, she offers support to the campaign in terms of arranging speaking engagements for Senator Green and gathering volunteers for special events.

 Formerly, she served as the Director of Special Projects with TN Right to Life, the oldest and largest pro-life advocacy organization in the state.  During her tenure with TRL, she acted as Board President of the Yes on 1 campaign which was the effort to win passage of the pro-life TN Constitutional Amendment 1.  Having begun this effort in February 2013, she assisted in organizing the grassroots, establishing volunteer training, facilitated special fundraising events and built relationships statewide.  The campaign realized ultimate victory when TN Constitutional Amendment 1 passed in November 2014. 

 Afterwards and more recently, she served as the TN Grassroots Chairman for the Ted Cruz for President campaign again organizing county leadership teams in all 95 counties of the state. 

 She and her husband of 25 years have two children and attend Franklin Road Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN.
