The holidays are nearly here so wanted to put a few things out there before we get super busy and things slip past us.

First, our December meeting, which is traditionally a little more informal and relaxed will be on Saturday, December 15.  We will have a local author, Hannah Conway with us and she will have copies of her books for sale (and of course, she will autograph them).  Her newest book is Christmas on a Mission so it’s appropriate we have her visit us for our December meeting!  We’re super excited that Hannah will be here!

Also, we need to send in Dues for 2019 by the end of December, so if you haven’t renewed, please do so.  Even if you can’t come in December, you can renew by completing the form attached and mailing it in with a check.  If you’d like to pay via credit/debit, you’ll have to contact Rebecca Britt who can take care of you.  (Rebecca’s number is 931-206-9577).

In honor of Joy Huggins, who passed away recently, we are going to do a donation for the FUEL program which helps hungry children in our local schools.  We’re going to have a Pop Tart Drive (FUEL bags are full of things children can prepare and eat without a grown up’s help and Pop Tarts are one of the things they need).  So, between now and December, watch the sales, and be sure to bring your boxes of Pop Tarts to the meeting so we can support this worthy cause in Joy’s name.

And last but not least, if you want to do a gift exchange in December, bring a wrapped gift (no more than $20 in value) to the meeting and we’ll have some fun with that!!
