February Meeting Info – Speaker Dr. Manny Sethi!

Our next meeting will be on Saturday, February 18 at the Looking Glass Restaurant at 329 Warfield Blvd. Dutch treat breakfast will be at 9:30 am, with the business meeting to start at 10:00

Breakfast is buffet style, so please send Patty Holland an email at holland_patty@yahoo.com or call her at 850-699-5077 to let her know if you plan on eating ASAP.

The Looking Glass is a Republican-owned restaurant that normally charges for their meeting rooms.  However, we do not get charged.  As such, please consider eating breakfast and supporting this business as they support us.  Breakfast is $15.54 including tax and gratuity.  Specialty drinks (and they are amazing) are extra.

Manny Sethi is an Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was raised in Hillsboro, Tennessee. His mother and father practiced medicine in Manchester, TN. for over 20 years. Dr. Manny is also the president and founder of Healthy Tennessee, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventative health education across the state. Manny was the Chairman of the 2016 GOP Statesmen Dinner. He is married to his high-school sweetheart Maya, and together they have two children and attend McKendree UMC Church in Nashville, TN.

In The American Dream in Tennessee: Stories of Faith, Struggle, and Survival, Dr. Manny shares his heartwarming story of growing up in a small town in rural Tennessee and of his family’s pursuit of the American Dream. The doctor also narrates eight powerful stories of his patients who came back from near-death experiences and were able to pursue those same dreams.

Whether it’s his own narrative or those of his patients, the stories Manny shares prove that in any life story the key ingredients of success and healing are faith, family, and the strength of the community.

If you would like a copy of Dr. Manny’s book, please email, call, or text Cathy Kolb at 931-801-6954, or cathykolb@reagan.com by WEDNESDAY.  Cost is $20 per book.
