Our next meeting will be on Saturday, July 20 at the Looking Glass Restaurant at 329 Warfield Blvd. Dutch treat breakfast will be at 9:30 am, with the business meeting to start at 10:00.

If you plan to eat breakfast you must RSVP to Karel Lea Biggs via email (karelleabiggs@gmail.com) or text (931-217-4018) by noon on Wednesday prior to the meeting. (Text is best, just be sure to tell me who you are in case I don’t recognize the number).  We need to give the restaurant an accurate count of who will be eating breakfast so please take a second to let us know if you are coming.

Dr. Ming Wang is a Harvard and MIT graduate (MD, magna cum laude) and one of the few cataract and LASIK eye surgeons in the world today who holds a doctorate degree in laser physics.  He has performed over 55,000 procedures, including on over 4,000 doctors.  He is called, “The doctors’ doctor”.

Ming grew up in China and came to this country with only $50.  Today, he is a world-class eye surgeon and is the only surgeon in the state of Tennessee who performs 3D laser vision procedures.

H has founded two 501c(3) non-profit organizations, Wang Foundation for Christian Outreach to China, and Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration, which to date has helped patients from over 40 states in the U.S. and 55 countries, with all sight restoration surgeries performed free-of-charge.

Dr. Wang was named the Kiwanis Nashvillian of the Year for his lifetime dedication to helping blind orphan children from around the world.

Dr. Wang has published 9 textbooks, holds several U.S. patents, and performed the world’s first laser ratification cornea implantation.
